Let me first say that I never write reviews, but I had to make an exception for this great product. I have been cross stitching for over 40 years. This is the first time I tried a pre-printed kit. I was impressed by how accurately the pattern is printed on the canvas. And there is more than enough thread (not always the case with kits). I have not washed it yet, but I am confident that the great quality of this kit will extend to the completion on the project!

It has been a long time since I've done cross stitch, but I am trying to reduce my screen time and I love owls, so this kit was perfect for me!It is a stamped fabric kit that comes with all the floss you need and two needles.It has a graph chart as well to follow along with.If you're a beginner, it can help to watch a quick Youtube tutorial on how to cross stitch, but after that, just jump in!It is an easy and fun hobby and will give you many hours of enjoyment.I highly recommend this kit, especially if you're just starting out.

I have not finished this pattern but I have run out of thread on every single color I have used so far. I have experience with many other kits and this is consistently under supplied. Kind of a waste of money because I can't finish the project

Not really a project for beginners, this is a project for people who have the patience and energy to sit there and work on this relentlessly. The end result is totally worth it. A beginner could use it but it would take a lot longer to get it done because I'm not a beginner and it took me a couple weeks.Everything is great quality and it's really nice to have the whole set come together without you having to find the right colors and everything. Very pretty.

This is a very detailed cross stitch kit for any HP fan. It is large and the colors are so pretty! It was easy to follow and the instructions were simple to understand

The canvas is printed very sharply and everything is easy to see. The pattern is printed straight so everything lines up with the holes in the Aida cloth. The paper copy of the pattern is on shiny, durable paper and includes the backstitching. There are plenty of threads provided as long as you remember to stitch with 3 threads since it is an 11count Aida cloth. This project is beginner friendly since it's not a full coverage kit and the white parts on the background are just the bare cloth.If this is your first kit, do not get it wet (or even damp) until you are all finished. The pattern is printed with water soluble ink and it will disappear. If that happens you can refer to the paper pattern but it's easier to just keep your project dry.

This set contains everything you need to create the stitched picture, including two needles. It does not include a frame or mounting board. The instructions are fairly easy to follow although the colours printed on the binca fabric are a contrast to the actual shades used. This does make it easier to see where to use two colours that are really very similar to each other so I found that idea very helpful.The fabric is very stiff and cannot be pre-washed to soften it as that would remove the colour coding, so I found stab stitches were often needed instead of the single in/out stitch often used for cross stitching. The thread is six-stranded cotton, as is usual for many cross stitch and embroidery tasks.I think this kit is useful for people with a little previous experience of sewing/cross stitching, rather than complete beginners, but you do not need to be an expert. Basic stitch instructions are included.As everything except a frame is included. I think this set is good value for money and would make a thoughtful gift for cross stitch kit fans who are fond of whimsical cat pictures.

Inside the kit is a colour diagram as well as a printed canvass plus yarns on a holder and two large eye needles. The canvass is 11 count ( meaning 11 holes per inch). The full canvass measures 11 x 9.5 inches (28 x24cm) with allowance to connect into a frame or hoop. And only 80x96 holes for the entire design. It shouldn't therefore take long to complete so suitable for a teenager not to get bored and abandon the project. The colours on the canvass are not the actual colours of yarn. The diagram shows the correct colours. The designs available are really cute. I love owls and have seen several on sale from this company so will be buying those to complete a display on my granddaughter bedroom wall. The grid lines printed on the canvass will wash off in cool water. There isn't enough yarn to fully fill the entire canvass so plain canvass will show when the project is completed but this doesn't affect the look of the finished work and makes completing it a lot quicker.

Lovely cute cat cross stitch, purchased as a present for lady that loves cats, not seen the finish project, no feed back. Looked good and everything included, fingers crossed she enjoyed.
