These ones works as described (i think?) but this won't fit the gun used in tagging clothes. I have the normal sized gun with longer needles and I thought I can just change the needles but I am wrong. So if you want the mini stitches to work, use its own gun.

Package of black and white stitch staples, along with a replacement needle, all to fit a MINI stitch gun. The regular replacements are everywhere, the minis are tougher to find!

I don't care if they call them sewing guns until the cows come home. They are tagging guns, and these are tags. Yes, they can be used to hold cloth together for a period of time. And thus, are useful in the sewing process. But that does not change the fact that they are not cloth or thread, and they do not stich things together for a complete item. They are temporary at best. Useful as a safety pin.
