This was to replace the gear on my traxxas 4tec 2.0. I kept stripping the stock gear. So far this is working great. And installation was as easy as it could be

Fixes the stripping of the spur gear problem but leaves you with a new problem of the pin comeing out i glued it in real good and put and extra bearing behind it. Hope it holds up. If the pin stayed in it would be a 5 star review

There is no way to hold in the main pin that holds the spur gear on. This product stinks and I am highly disappointed with it.

I have traxxas gr supra which is the 4 tec 2.0 but it does not fit at all there is much space bettween the pinion and the spur

Fits in my 4tec 3.0 hot rod with larger pinion gear. Doesn't click into pin like stock plastic gear does, I just added a dab of loctite and it holds fine. No mores stripping plastic gears and 1/3 the price of Hot Racing gear!

When installing you will need to put a bearing on the rear so the spur doesn’t move back and forth when hitting the throttle
