The new one was in worse shape than the one in the truck that I am trying to replace.

The glass came with side to side alignment rubber pieces that forced the product into place very firmly--and held it off the bottom as well--perfect fit. The description of the product in the 'questions and answers ' section appeared to allude to it having the foam adhesion strips that would stick directly to the truck--disappointment on my part, but maybe I misunderstood. You will need 2 urethane tubes in order to create your own 'foam adhesion strips' / tall bead of urethane to attach it to your truck. The glass was sent in a foam encased box on sides of glass, and wasn't firmly in those foam pieces after shipping had their way with it--glad it wasn't broken. I used acetone for cleanup--urethane is messy. Happy with this product!
