I appreciate sound (no pun intended) and thoughtful design, and this lav mic mounting and concealment kit is very impressive. First, it comes with much more than the standard adhesive that is usually included in kits like this, with a variety of lav covers, tape with a cut-out window to prevent direct contact with the mic capsule, and even three mini "dead cat" covers for outdoor use.What's more, it all comes in a handy compact box with compartments to keep it organized. I keep a set of lav concealment tape in my kit bag at all times, and from experience it is always hard to keep them in god condition once the package has been opened. But this product makes keeping it with you at all times a breeze.I've used this to mic up a real estate agent speaking both indoors and outside, as well as a dancer teaching a course for a video. Despite all the movement, even the dancer's audio was free from rustling of hair or clothing, and the adhesive lasted all day and was easy to mount and remove.

Having never heard of this company before, it's refreshing to see audio solutions like this.There's plenty of solutions out there, but this little kit brings it all together in a plastic box, which I really like.It's got some accessories for a variety of situations.Overall, I like it.

This was a pretty good kit for hiding a lavalier mic under my shirt rather than clipping it to my shirt like normal. It comes with everything needed to tape it to your skin or inside of the shirt and cover the mic so that it doesn't pick up a bunch of noise from rubbing on clothing. It came with everything I needed and then some

It has several materials for different situations indoors and out. They make it easy to use and easy to understand. Plus you get allot for your money. It comes in it's own sectioned off hard plastic case and everything feels well made and high quality. They really thought this one out and made it as easy and straight forward for you to start hiding mics under clothing. This is a grab and go kit with everythinng you need. I am grateful to have it and I think you should take a look if you need your mics to be discreet and unseen.

Diverse kit for hiding lav micsWhether you shoot documentaries, video news releases, or corporate interviews, it's aesthetically best to hide lav mics. They can visually conflict with shirts and blouses, can tug and pull on the material, and result in clothing rustle just to name a few of the issues.Depending on the clothing and subject you may need different mic hiding solutions. This starter kit gives you several combinations that allow you to attach them either to the inside of the clothing or directly to the skin depending on the challenges you face.The kit comes with a plastic compartmentalized case keeping each variant component separate and the case itself makes for easy transport. There's a small insert that describes each of the components. The company has videos and guides that walk you through how to use each use variant.There's invisible skin tape as well as invisible lav tape. There are black, white, flesh-tone covers. The choices help depending on the nature of the shirt's color and visibility to the inside. Fur for outdoor use controlling wind noise, "original" for best sound quality indoors, moleskin for low profile use (less likely to see a mic bulge). The skin tape helps you tape down the cable that may otherwise bunch up.The kit itself helps you understand what you'll need for specific use situations and may guide you in future purchases depending on your most common lav mic situations.

This is a great "sampler" set of lav mic mounting accessories focused on reducing rustling and wind noises. They work well for sure. Bubblebee has been making these for a long time and they gained fame in making them well. This set comes with a few types of lav covers and tape for someone who is not sure what exactly what they should get. I guess the idea is that one would try different ones and buy more of the ones that fit their typical use.The kit comes in a nice little, transparent compartmental case to keep things organized. I like that very much. If you buy refills in the future, you can continue to use the case.I would have preferred the list price to be much lower because this is a sampler kit after all. I feel the price might be a barrier to entry for people who want to try out the product, but would rather not spend too much just to try out. But that doesn't take away the quality of the product. So I am still going to give it five stars.
