Like that they work perfectly with my starter mag base to hold the dial indicator around the the 3/8” barrel. Always can expect the best from Starrett

I already have three of these. But I wanted one more. Because I'm needy. And a little greedy.I'm not picking favorites, but I kind of like this one more than the other three. Its new, and less worn out. Its so tight and clean. And pure.

I bought an off brand a few years back. The thing is trash already. I'm a surface grinder in a gage shop so this gets used all day, every day. The Starrett just feels so much better. Would buy or recommend to anyone.

Quality wise it is a good product. I am still waiting for another item so I could check how it fits with 3/8" round bars.
