Love the light feel, but if you lay into them, shaft bends. I’m not even a real heavy player.Felt holds up really well. Wish it was mounted to better shaft. Maybe I’ll do that. Price is so cheap 😊

Beater shafted bent after two bands practices. I consider myself a finesse drummer even though I play on the hard side. I haven't broken a cymbal since the 80s and I've never bent a bass drum beater.
