This tea strainer works fine for loose-leaf tea, but it’s on the smaller side, so it doesn’t hold much. The latch closes securely, though I have to be careful not to overfill it, or the leaves don’t expand well. The metal is lightweight but doesn’t feel flimsy.The little Elephant charm is a nice touch, and it makes it easier to pull the strainer out. It’s decorative but not heavy enough to weigh the chain down too much. Cleaning is simple since it just needs a quick rinse, but small tea bits can get stuck in the mesh. It does the job, but I’d probably go for a bigger one next time.One issue I have is that the Elephant isn't very stable and falls off a bit easily depending on what kind of cup I use.

My sister loved this so much I am buying a few more for friends. The packaging it came in is also awesome!!!! Great for loose tea drinkers

Very cute but did not hold the tea in the strainer when I added water. Very cute though.

This is a nice quality and really lovely stainless steel tea strainer ball with a chain attached to a beautiful elephant ornament that can sit flat next to the cup or stay hooked onto the lip while infusing or drinking. This little gadget is easy to use for steeping herbs or regular tea leaves, and the elephant has a lot of colorful and sparkly detailing with gold trim on a white background, green, and sparkly crystals that look like channeled little diamonds. The packaging it comes in is also really sturdy and vibrant. There is a colorful orange box with a dark bow that has gold script reading "Love You Forever," and a small orange gift bag with a handle also comes with it so you can stick the box into the bag for gifting. The tea strainer and elephant can be separated if desired, to use the elephant as a charm or ornament, and the size of this would also fit well in a stocking, if you need a gift for the upcoming holidays. A tea and animal lover would really appreciate this unique strainer.

My wife loves anything with Indian-style decorations. Even though these are perfectly functional tea balls, they'd be just as good an addition to a tchotchke shelf or personal altar. The product description seems to know this, recommending the detachable elephant charm could be used as a pendant.It's a little pricey as a tea ball, but the decorative aspect makes a big difference. It has a lot more impact than a standard tea infuser. You could even pair this with a generic tea infuser as a gift so they can keep this pristine while still having an everyday tea infuser on the side.

This holds a LOT of tea - at least I feel like this steeper is larger than others I've seen. Which is excellent if you wanted to brew it in say, a thermos or large cupThe elephant is stunning - I kind of can't get over how pretty it is. Fancy tea strainer, has definite themes from India very detailed elephant with other colors and jewel tones and pieces. Has a medium length chain that is detachable. Strainer itself is a majority covered it holes. And has a cool feature where it can hang off a cup or mug. It doesn't do as well with really thick rims but does better for thinner rims. Very classy looking would make an excellent gift for tea lovers

The box this comes in is so cute and it even comes with a little gift bag to put it in. The elephant is really hefty and nice quality. There's also a little plate to put the tea ball onto after using, it is a great bonus
