These tongs have decent strength and grip so they work well for easy flipping and turning on my stove top. The locking feature is pretty simple and works well enough without being complicated. Slide the mechanism and they can open up. Close the tongs and slide it the other way, and they lock together.They open a few inches so don't expect to grip really thick objects. Bear in mind as well that they are not the very long type, so using them for my stove rather than outdoor grill is the plan. I'm pleased with them and keep them hanging near my other frequently used kitchen utensils.

All our tongs were so big we wanted one that was smaller go get olives and pickles out of the jars without having to spear them with a fork. This works great even on the small opening olive jars we had no problems at all. The locking feature is really nice much better than the little wire you slide up and down on cheaper tongs.

The grip is fantastic for grabbing smaller foods, but I find the catch to keep it closed when not in use sometimes gets in the way when grabbing the food

Just the right size for turning small things in air fryer or frying pan. The fact they lock closed makes storage easier.

I cannot start to say how I love this Cooking thong. It's all about being able to pinch and turn your food on the stove, or BBQ. As one gets older, the grip is not that good anymore. These thongs are my helping hand each and every time. There have little grips at the end so their bite is efficient, and another plus: they stay open or closed with a very well-placed locking mechanism. Precision is in the details, well this one is all about precision. I do recommend them highly! A-1 seller, A-1 delivery.
