My husband it interested in trying to make stained glass art, so this was the first thing he ordered toward acquiring supplies for that. Besides the gloves and 2 rolls of copper foil tape, all of the supplies fit into the sturdy case with smoothly functioning zipper and little loop for hanging the case on a peg or hook. While some of the larger supplies, like the various pliers, fit into the elastic loops neatly, many of the other supplies are smaller and have to be kept loose in baggies. I would have liked to have seen some small compartments for things like that designed into the case instead. The more professional-looking tools do look very nice, though it will be a while before my husband learns how to use them, since we still need to acquire lots more supplies before he can begin to learn the craft. The gloves fit my husband’s hands well enough, since he normally wears size L gloves, so it’s good that this kit wasn’t for me. Had it been, I’d have to order additional gloves, as I usually wear size XS, and so these are absolutely massive on my hands, leaving me without any sort of finger dexterity or control. Overall, my husband is impressed with everything included and is eager to try and learn how to use all of the tools once he acquires a few more components, such as glass and a soldering iron.

I ordered this because I needed to purchase grozing and running pliers as well as a nipper. In this set you get all three as well as extra blades for the nippers and a pistol grip cutter with wheels for multiple thicknesses of glass. With everything you get in this set, the price is great! I was concerned about the quality of the cutters, but honestly they are working great for me. All three sets of pliers are heavy, straight, well aligned and are clearly built to last. The tools in this set are nice quality. Yes, it is made in China, but this is a good investment set for a beginner. You have so many little bits you need to buy when you are just starting out cutting glass, this will help you get the job done whether you are doing stained glass or just need to cut a piece of glass for some diy project. The gloves are pretty big. They are much too large for my size small women's hands, but they fit my sweetie perfectly so they won't be wasted. The copper foil in this kit has copper backing for any one who needs to plan ahead for patina or glass colors. The case to hold everything is an added bonus. I moved all of the tools to my caddy and transferred all extra blades and little tools to the case, so it is handy whether or not you think you need it.I am very pleased. I wasn't certain about ordering this because I tend to believe in getting the best tool you can afford so that it lasts a lifetime... When it comes to the three pliers in this set, you won't be disappointed, all three I received are fantastic!

I wouldn’t say this kit is complete because it lacks a soldering iron but that can be picked up separately and inexpensively. For the cost, this is an impressive set of tools! They seem well built and pretty heavy duty and come with replacement blades and wheels. The case is a nice touch and will help keep everything organized.Keep in mind there are no instructions with this kit. It doesn’t teach you how to do stained glass but it does get you the basic tools you need to get off the ground! It an be daunting to delve into a new craft, not knowing exactly what you need and buying everything separately. This set takes the guess work out of it for you!

I took a stained glass class recently and all the tools were provided at the class. It was a nice introduction to the craft but once it was over it left me wanting more. I've been on the lookout ever since for a kit that provides everything I need to jump back in with both feet and this has more tools than even the class had!One thing I'm eager to try out are the gloves. Nearly every person in our class had cut themselves at least once, and people like myself, several times. It'll be nice if these gloves will cut down on the need for bandages!Another nice touch in this kit were the two rolls of foil. All I need now is the glass and the solder! If you know someone that you think might like to try stained glass but not sure what tools they might need, this has almost everything needed to get started.

I wanted to try this because I'm branching out into new crafts and have had my eyes on stained glass for a while! This kit comes with a nice zippered case so the tools won't get lost in my continuously growing (and messy) craft space. The case has some elastic straps on the inside to help hold things in place - naturally, it can't hold everything perfectly especially things that are too small to reach the straps, but it is still a helpful feature. These tools themselves feel well built, the case lends well for convenience and organization, and the cut resistant gloves are an absolute essential for fellow beginners like me.Overall, I highly recommend this kit for anyone looking to get started with stained glass!

This seems to be a comprehensive kit, and the pieces seem to be sturdy. They're mostly metal, not plastic, and feel hefty. They come in a nice case. This doesn't feel cheap, and I think it'll last. For the cost, it's definitely worth a gamble on future durability.
