This S hook towing attachment arrived in just two days. It was packaged well and in perfect condition. This tow connector is excellent for use where loops are mainly available. I have a car we take on track that has loops in front and back for tow, and this coated S hook does a great job of connecting and protecting that tow loop while being able to handle thousands of pounds of force as we winch it up on the trailer. At this price, I believe it’s an extremely good investment and it must have for many people who do four-wheel driving or trailer cars often. If I experience any issues or failures of the system, I will certainly update my review. At this point, it’s definitely recommend.

Ordered this COOHAME S-Shape 3/8" Tow Hook as an addition to my recovery kit. Makes quick work of connecting different recovery items such as chains to straps...etc. Much easier to add length and different available materials to recovery system.Stamped 8T on hook leading me to believe the listed working load rating of 11,200# to be conservative and accurate. Should work fine for all but heaviest of my vehicles that may need recovery. I always try to include extra weight for stuck forces when selecting proper recovery gear.Good value for convenience and speed of connecting and disconnecting from system. Keeper!

On the farm, I often find myself using ropes, straps, and chains in non-standard ways. While I usually use a combination of soft and metal shackles, I came across this double hook on Vine and couldn’t help but order. When extending a line, this will be quicker to join two sections than messing with a shackle. While I’m sure I didn’t “need” it, it is something I wanted and will use, so I gave it a shot. The quality is nice. It has a good heft and the spring-loaded latches move with relative ease, opening without a fight and snapping back shut securely. I am a little leery of adding a chunk of metal into a line pull…but I don’t see this as being that much different than a metal shackle, so I’m not sure it is introducing any higher risk that I already had with the existing tools.

This is one heavy duty winch hook. I guess. Not that I know anything about them. But, for my purposes, which would be to occasionally pull someone out of the sand at the beach, I have no doubt this will do the job and then some. It will go nicely with my 33K pound rope. I was surprised at how heavy it is. I wish I could tell you I used this to pull a dump truck out of a ditch. But I'd be lying. What I can tell you is I'm glad I got this. The price is reasonable as well in my opinion. I just prefer to be prepared as to not be. Plus I can also throw it at someone if they are attacking me. Or use it as a boat anchor.

I wish I had one of these years ago! This S-shaped tow hook is made from very strong G80 steel and has a working capacity of 11.200 pounds and a braking capacity or 33,000 pounds. The bright red color makes it easy to spot in your trunk or in low light conditions.It streamlines and simplifies hooking up to vehicles, trees, whatever, because strap loops or chains can easily and quickly be clipped onto either side of the clamp. You do not have to screw anything together to make secure connections. The retainer securely holds your chain or strap on the S-hook. When finished it is super easy to disconnect everything, and this hook stows easily into a small space.You can use this with a winch, another vehicle or a tractor, and it us useful for many tasks from vehicle recovery to logging. stump removal and a whole bunch of rural and farm work.
