Wanted these to serve shellfish (with or without pasta) and have room for the shells. They are the perfect size and depth. And they are very stylish. I haven’t used them yet but they seem sturdy (a bit heavy but no problem). I hope they don’t chip. Time will tell. I’ll use them next time I make clams or mussels. Probably in a couple of weeks.

Purchased the blue color and they are beautiful. They are very well made, heavy and priced reasonably. My husband was so impressed he thought that I paid triple what I did. I plan on buying afew more sets to give a gifts

These bowl plates are stunning. I love how heavy and sturdy they are. The shape is perfect and these are versatile for many types of meal set ups. They are easy to use and easy to clean. The size works great as a serving bowl or as a “blate” for a full meal for an individual. The color is gorgeous and scratch resistant. The paint job is a little different but I beliEve it was done purposely based on the fact they are supposed to be black and gray. If you look up their plates, the black and grey has the same pattern. Unfortunately these bowls don’t come in all black but they have plates that do. Nonetheless, I love these and ordered a set of 4 to give me a complete set of 6! Definitely recommend because food looks upscale on these beauties!

My family and I decided we wanted to start a more plant based diet for a healthier lifestyle and I really wanted big, pretty bowls for soups, salads, grain bowls, etc. So I searched for days before deciding on these. They are really big without being too deep, they are nice and heavy and just make meals more fun for me!! I absolutely love them. I got a set of white and a set of blue, now I'm ready for healthier dinner parties!

Oh my goodness... I love these bowls! I didn't intend on buying such a big bowl, but I'm glad I did. They can be used as a plate if you wish too. It's not your average size bowl. You can serve spaghetti, soup or salad in it. It can also be used as serving bowls. Great value for my money and they're pretty pretty. These bowls are heavy so I wouldn't recommend a small child to handle them. Buy them, you will love them.

I love these, they look nice and they have some weight to them so keep that in mind if you have arthritis or weaker grip strength. They do wash well in the dishwasher, microwave food items well without making the plate hot and the size is perfect for me.
