I love the heft of the lanyard. It’s a pretty set of black beads. I wore it and on the first day today, it already broke. The round metal ring, connecting the beads to the clasp, opened. I can use pliers to close the metal ring OR simply bypass the broken ring and place key ring directly on the beaded chain.

After 2 breakaway lanyards broke, I decided to give this one a try. It feels heavy on, and by heavy I mean quality, not flimsy. I have been using it over month and its still great shape, which is longer than my cheap breakaways lasted. The ring part is magnetic.

I wanted something that looked professional, stylish and was functional. This fit the bill. I don’t have to worry about metal making my neck red or giving me a rash. I also like that there are knots between the beads so my hair doesn’t get caught and neck doesn’t get pinched. Very satisfied.
