This Spode plate looks fantastic. The blue and white floral design is done extremely well with no flaws. The plate is very sturdy. The size of the plate is perfect for a serving plate.Overall, this is a beautiful plate. I look forward to using this for dinner parties and holidays in the future.

This charger plate is stunning. At 12 inches, this large charger plate can serve as a base for dinner plates and bowls or used as a larger plate, serving platter, or even a cake plate. The Blue Italian Brocato pattern features flowing florals and vines with a slight Japanese influence that complements traditional and modern dinnerware. This earthenware charger is a heavier weight than china or ceramic dishes, and with proper care, it should be durable and last a long time. Just handle it carefully to avoid any potential chipping so it can remain part of your tableware collection for years. My only concern is a tiny area the size of a small seed where the glaze was missing. This occlusion doesn't alter the functionality or appearance of this charger, but this is Spode so there is an expectation of the highest quality— especially at this price point.
