First one arrived with the pole missing. The company sent another one immediately. This book rack is great . So easy to install.

Very good. I have it set up in my 2nd bathroom in my apartment. Hasn't fallen in the 4 months I've had it and seems very sturdy. Getting it setup in the beginning was a little annoying but once the screws are properly proportioned for your ceiling it's easy to engage and disengage.

Great value for a floor to ceiling bike stand, have held up my fixie & a mountain bike for 2 years, haven't fail/tipped over. (It did come close to tipping over on a few occasions though) If there's a few improvements like a racheting mechanism to apply tension, bigger base/top plate for stability; and like some other reviews has pointed out, it's quite difficult to have a bike secured at an angle. Instead of 1 knob in the center for the "J hook rack" to adjust for tilt, make a system that can be secured on two different points, then the tilting function would be a lot more usable.Compared to the Bikehand bike stand, it's currently $180 for that unit, $80 for this. But the Bikehand unit has addressed every issue I brought up regarding this unit. So less than half the price, serve its function, I'm happy with the purchase.

So glad i found this! I found one that leaned against the wall but wasn't very tall, this goes floor to ceiling, adjustable heights for the racks to maximize storage space. I love that i can fit both bikes on it without needing to pull one bike out to use the other. My robot vacuum can easily go around the post and under the tires as well when before dog fur would just collect around the tires and kennel. Just make sure to adjust it where a ceiling stud/beam is or risk going thru the drywall. Don't over tighten. Literally set it up in 5 minutes, put the first bike up top to max out the pole and got the second bike on the bottom high enough to be off the floor and still not get hung up on the top bike. Also the bottom bike is heaver with all the accessories and can't lift it that high. I like that the pole can still swivel but not enough to loosen so I can swivel the bike around towards the wall to open the door wider. Way more convenient than when i had both bikes on the floor taking up space and couldn't open the door fully. Also it just looks really cool!

We ordered this to hold two mountain bikes that weigh around 34 pounds each. The instructions included with the package warn that you cannot safely hang more than 30 pounds on the upper tube (the lower tube is rated for 45 pounds). Too bad it doesn't say that in the product description. The package documentation was also unclear about the total weight it can bear. 30 lb. on top and 45 lb on bottom = 75 lb (not 80 like in product description). Anyway... hope that helps someone!

The shipping was fast and the product is good so far. I did not give 5 stars because the instructions weren't clear - we had to twist and extend the pole for about an hour trying to understand how to make it secure so it doesn't fall! Eventually, we figured it out... It seems very sturdy, I even tried my best to pull it and it was very tight on. I am testing it out for the first night to see if the whole thing doesn't fall and destroy our living room. We live in a small 1 bedroom apartment and it is an absolute space saver, hoping it will endure months and even years of holding our bikes.

THIS IS AMAZING - perfect for mounting all kinds of photo gear and lighting and monitors. As a bike rack - IT SEEMS PERFECT for the price and so I am going to order a second one. Because I was looking for a solution for my studio and I'm on a tight budget I decided this bike rack could be useful. IT IS AND ITS AWESOME. I will be using it both horizontally and vertically. LET ME EMPHASIZE THIS IS PERFECT FOR VERTICAL APPLICATIONS LIKE A BIKE RACK but it could be used to hang other things but not if they aren't balanced on the pole. This pole tubing is thin but thick enough for its stated purpose. The horizontal span that i have is about 11 ft and its not strong enough for that so for that reason I will be using ceiling hanger straps to support it in the middle. I do not recommend anyone use it like I am because while this RACK IS PERFECT - I use things in ways they were not designed for all the time and that takes a lot of experience.

Overall I’m very happy with this rack. It’s a great storage solution for small living spaces and requires no drilling, which is convenient if you are a renter. Assembly took just a few minutes. I did accidentally push it up too far and separated the wall molding from the ceiling a bit (see picture), but it’s nothing to complain about because I did not look for a stud first like I should have. Our ceiling is 7ft and the rack comfortably fits a small and large bike. It’s pretty sturdy too! Great value for the quality.

Super easy to setup. As many reviews have stated it seems somewhat flimsy but the bikes sit perfect and I don't have any fear of them moving. Easy to adjust. My son's bike doesn't have a straight crossbar but it still worked. Glad I bought this over some of the stands I was looking at. I have a road bike coming in a few weeks and will place that on the stand with my 29er and move my son and wife's bike to the other one. If anything changes with having two adult bikes I'll update this post accordingly.

Well designed, feels like good quality. assembled without an issue, though it did take me a bit longer than i expected (the instructions could be improved). That aside, very happy with this - would buy again (depending on price versus competition of course).
