We live on a ranch and do all of our own repairs of all kinds. We are always needing this kind of stopper. We use them for fuel spouts, and other gardening situations. We use them for automotive work to plug vacuum lines/ports, fuel lines, and to stop leaks. There are tons of uses for these. I was at my local hardware store the other day and had to purchase just one medium size stopper, and it was $2.49, so this bag full for $6 is a real bargain. There are lots of different sizes that cover most situations. These are so nice to have on hand. I’m really very pleased with this purchase.

These stoppers are a dull white color. They are bumpy, have tiny visible holes, exhibit larger pits, show random scratches, and sport circular dents. Almost all the edges are frayed and some look badly mangled with chunks missing.The product I received does meet food or laboratory standards.Update for 2025-03-21:The manufacturer reached out and explained the off-white stoppers are made from natural Mexican rubber without processing to make them smooth and shiny. They said black stoppers have additives to enhance their appearance. I can scrub the white stoppers by hand and trim them with a knife. They will not look as refined as factory finished stoppers, but at least they are natural. Information is valuable so I have changed my review from one to three stars.

This is a package of standard rubber laboratory stoppers, exactly as described. The quality of the product is normal, smooth (not glassy), no pits or significant surface protrusions.

Been looking for assorted plugs for temporarily covering a couple of holes in wood cabinet. This assortment had two sizes I needed. They are rubber, and for a while, I expect they will smell like rubber. Will leave them in the garage for now.

I bought these stoppers with the idea of plugging two 1.25" holes.The #6 stopper went through the hole and the #8 stopper would not go in.There was no #7 stoppers included with this assortment.So if you have a one and a quarter inch hole to plug, this assortment will not work.

This is a very complete selection of rubber stoppers in the most useful sizes. They are very solid and heavy, so they are not going to move easily once they are in place. They provide an excellent seal.I am using them for pressure testing hydronic heating system piping before installing it, to make sure the radiator welds are not leaking. The idea is to plug the output with one of these stopper and connect the other end to city water. Any leaks, seeping, or sweating will become apparent before connecting up the system.These are fantastic because they fit a wide range of pipes and they allow testing of the piping before filling the system.

These silicone plugs are hefty and I love that they come in a variety of sizes. I am taking all of my existing outdoor planters and converting them into self-watering pots. To do that I need to plug up the holes and make the pots water tight. When I saw these silicone plugs I thought they would work perfectly. If there is any wiggle room (I have a lot of different sized pots with different sized holes) I figure I can add a little silicone caulking to the inside to make the seal more tight.
