I got these solar pendant lights for my shed, hoping to get some good light in there. Installation was a breeze, and the long cables were definitely a plus. However, the lights themselves just aren't bright enough. They're more like a dim ambient glow than actual working light. If you're looking for something to just add a little bit of light to a space, these might work, but they're not ideal for a shed where you need to see what you're doing. The connectors were very easy to connect, which made the installation even smoother. The lights themselves are made of plastic.

These are plastic so not heavy at all… in fact probably the heaviest part is the solar panel which I missed needs to be screwed into something to anchor it (I have mine propped on ground as didn’t want to drill a hole in tree)I ordered these bc they looked like they’d give off a good amount of light. The idea was to string between 2 close pear trees that line my yard so my senior dog could have a little more light at night when he goes to potty.. Also I just thought it would look cuteI need to find a better use for these.They’re more for aesthetic light than practicality.. meaning they’re going to give off more ambient light as opposed to actually substantially lighting up where they are hungThey’d actually be perfect for a gazebo or underneath a covered dock etcI mistakenly thought each light fed into 1 cord that then made its way to the solar panel to control all… thus giving you more flexibility in placement (longer overall cord length) & also you wouldn’t have to worry about so many cords everywhere.As it is now, the cords are kind of an eyesore bc they fan out in 4 ways from the pretty hefty solar panel actually forming the pattern of a hand fan if you willLights come with a simple remote for powering on/off & adjusting brightnessOverall not a bad pick, just not well-suited for my needs.The cords & Solar panel seem hefty enough that they would last a good while. Time will tell

Got this for my chicken coop.All the connectors are pretty well madeLights are plastic, overall decent value for what it is.Will update on longevity. So far so good.

These lights are a great idea, but their brightness is just enough to see a walking path, but not bright enough to be able to see something you are working on. So a little disapointing.
