These lights are substantial. Each has some serious weight to them. They charge enough during the day to stay illuminated all the way through dawn. They aren’t super bright, but perfect for accent lightning. I’ve installed them alongside a walkway, but we are planning to replace the tile on it soon, and I plan to cut out rectangles to accommodate setting these with some polymeric sand. They’re more than heavy-duty enough to handle anything but vehicle traffic.

Pros:These Solar Paver lights actually work. They are strong enough to walk on.They seem to be waterproof when in the ground. They can be adjusted bright and have various LED lighting options with a remote control like all other LEDs.And, most importantly, they last all night long after a decent, even partly sunny day. Impressive.Cons:None yet.I highly recommend these Solar Paver LED lights!

These bricks are heavy duty and comparable to paving stones. They would be great to provide soft lighting along a walkway. I placed the two I received along a fence line next to a potted plant just to see how much light they would put out after sitting all day in the sun. They look beautiful! They’d look even better if you put them in the ground at the same level as pavers since they can be walked on and probably even driven over without a problem. The most trouble you’d have with installation is leveling the ground to exactly match the height of the paver it was sitting next to. That’s it! Or if you don’t want to put them along a path, they’d probably work just as well sitting on top of the ground as a border to a flower bed or around a garden fountain or statue.

I thought for the price they would be made of more than plastic~! Its hard plastic but none the less, Im not 100 % sure they would not break if you ran over them with your truck or car~! Even if you did prepare an "installation well" as vaugely described in the page of DIY instructions. It clearly states that you need a layer of sand to ensure drainage in the well that you have to build to install them properly so they wont be sitting in standing water. Which that in its self sounds high risk of ruining your $100 investment~its not exactly a fool proof plan. ~ IMO~It sure sounds like a lot of trouble to me~for such an expensive little paver light~thats no bigger than a cigar box. Plus to make it even a little bit cool and useful for a driveway or a pathway it would litterally cost you a fortune~! ($400 for 8 small pavers is just crazy~!)Also, it would take you a whole lot of effort to protect them from the elements as not to jepordize your investment.I was reading some of the other reviews to see why these pavers are getting such great ratings ~ they must have gotten a different product than I recieved. Mine didn't come with no powerful remote control~ no dimmer option~ or a color change option~!I'm feeling a little deprived~! What I have are not that bright~they are not that functional~not that easy to install~not that good of a value~and for that price they should light up the night like a firepit shining up from Haties~! And they do not....its a great idea, cool concept, they just have a lot of issues to iron out to make them functional and practical enough to justify that kind of price. Or lower the price atleast so consumers wont be so butt hurt after spending a $100 bucks on a couple of pain in the neck ground lights that require "installation wells".

One great concept, but it’s a bit pricey for what you get in return. The remote that comes with it is quite expensive, and I find it unnecessary. It also has color-applications, but you can’t change the actual color of the light itself. The light is durable, and you can stand on it and walk on it, which is what you’d expect from an item like this. However, it’s not functional. It’s easy to install because you just need to place it in the ground, dig a little spot, and throw some rocks around it. But this doesn’t necessarily create an environment that allows for the necessary sunlight or for the light to meet its full potential.I’ve had these in direct sunlight, and they’re bright. But with all the rain I’ve received, they just don’t seem to want to work together. The remote is also very disappointing. You can’t use it from anywhere except right up close to the lights themselves. I would expect a remote for convenience, and one that you can use from a distance. This remote is just a cheap one that you get with any other solar item or battery-operated item for the price point of these.I would expect high-quality, a remote that’s actually functional, and one that has features that are applicable to the item itself. And I believe that despite the concept being phenomenal, the execution on this was not as good as it could have been when I first bought it. I ordered it again, and I recommended it to others. Unfortunately, I’m very much disappointed.

I got these to shed some light onto a dark pathway. If you like to substitute existing pavers you have to measure first before you get these.Installing the brick is not more difficult than installing regular paving stones. The lights are just not that heavy. The are sealed and made for the outdoors. You should be able to step onto them, though the plastic cover feels as if it could crack easy. I am not too heavy and it handles my weight. The bricks are very simple - no switch no controller. They just collect energy during the day and start shining when it gets dark. And they last for a couple of ours.If you have to cover a longer path these bricks are not cheap.

These lights are pretty good but!!! There and big but… if your Neigbor has the same lights, guess what? They all have the same frequency so when they change the colors yours will change too and vise versa. The range is pretty damn far.You can’t control the brightness either even though the remote has an option for it.If the lights were paired to your remote only I would have rated it 5 stars.
