It leaks pretty bad in soda stream it will tolerate a bit of fizz but anything decent will leak from the adapter and machine. The seal on the bottle is fine. I had I hopes to get rid of the plastic bottles but it’s a fail

We wanted to start using glass containers for making our sparkling water but needed an attachment to work with our soda stream. It worked with the glass bottles we bought!

Purchased for my onetouch soda stream so I could use the glass bottles. Leaked water all over.gasket is slightly to large for the plastic to get a good seal. Don't recommend for the onetouch machine.

These are excellent because they provide the way to use the glass bottles instead of plastic. They work well. They also add an extra replacement gasket/washer in the package.

I was very curious if this product would work on my ancient Soda Stream Genesis based on the other systems it was compatible with, so I thought I'd give it a try. Short story, it does work. Longer story, One of the biggest issues with the product was it came with two gaskets, a larger and a smaller, with no directions for use. For the mechanically inclined among you, this may be a no brainer. For me, it required a bit of trial. I quickly figured out that one went in the base of the adapter and I screwed the adapter onto the unit (easy peasy). I thought the other one was likely a spare, and it's possible that this was the intent. I did find, however, that I eliminated some spillage from the top during carbonating if I put the other on the top of the glass bottle and before putting screwing it into the soda stream. When I unscrewed the bottle, the gasket stayed on the unit and it's working great that way.One thing to note is that the adapter does make it awkward getting the bottle in and out of the unit. To me it was worth not adding my old unit to the landfills to purchase a unit that uses truly eco friendly glass versus plastic that I need to throw away or repurpose every two years. Really too bad that the Soda Stream company themselves doesn't make an adaptor (or better yet design their bottles with a more universal attachment system). I know it would cost them some machine sales, but it would really build their image as respecters of the environment who are not relying on planned obsolescence to boost their bottom line.

I’m glad I bought this adapter. Gives me the flexibility to use different bottles. I prefer the glass bottles which need this adapter.
