He used to just use guards under his socks, but the sleeve was a game changer. He came home from practice without deep intentions on his legs. Definitely recommended. Love that they came in school colors.

I have two kids who play soccer, one 7 and one 9. These work for the 7 year old, but the 9 year old says, "they stick up a little bit." By that she means that the curve of the guard is too narrow for her shins so they don't stay flush against the leg as they should. Perhaps if you child has skinny legs that might be great for up to age ten, otherwise I suggest trying the larger size for 9-10 year olds.

We play lots of sports and found these shin guards to be decent. I do with they were a bit longer but, they are average size. Easy to put on and place shin guards. Comfortable to wear and they do their job.

These soccer shin guards and sleeves are great quality. I bought the size large for my somewhat small 10-year-old, and they fit very well. The shin guards are sturdy, and we feel as though his shins are protected. We did not try the socks, as our club requires a certain color, but the socks feel decent and we will be donating them to another player.

The shin guards are good, the socks are good, but the extra shin guard holders that go on first are not good. Would be much better if the socks actually had pockets for the guards. These kept sliding down my kids legs and were useless. Made it through one game and tossed them
