First off, this stuff works to melt ice and clear a drive way.The only reason it gets 4 stars and not 5 stars is the price per ounce for this size was not great. My solution was to buy one of this size to have the spreader jug top that is on the 10-lb size. And then topped it up all winter with the 50 lb. bag size.

The product is fine but the lid on the ice melt had come open, and all I can say is- it sure was a good thing it was in a box. The box was starting to get wet. UPS was the delivery and I just thought you should know so maybe it won't happen again. I do like the product, but wasn't happy with having to try and get as much as I could back in the bottle. Was relieved to have this delivered before the next snowfall to discover that the product itself isn't sealed in anyway for proper delivery. Normally you'd expect to see a plastic seal around or on the lid to make sure nothing spills out if the lid is opened during delivery, but not not with this product.Ended up with a busted container with the salt sitting in a soaking wet box due to inclement weather, so it's now a bigger hassle than expected.
