Reorganizing my CD collection and needed storage which was not an eyesore or required NASA engineers to understand directions. The boxes literally snap together and the fasteners add an attractive detail. It took me longer to fill the boxes than assemble them.

One of the snaps broke as we were putting the box together. These will be fine for storing items used occasionally. Probably wouldn’t recommend for daily use.

Being used as advertised, but the inside snap units came loose easily on the grey units. I have watched the price of these units steadily increase, and I have reservations about ordering any more of them. I have almost 300 DVDs (in paper sleeves) in each of them, so the boxes are very heavy to pick up and move. The newest ones seem to be made a bit narrower, and the construction seems not as sturdy as before.

easy to assemble but put cds in and the center piece of cardboard seperated from the container so it is useless now. looked at other one before assembling and the is hardly any glue holding it together. why do companies do this? I mean, how much would it cost for enough glue to hold it together?

Good concept, but quality control is lacking, or maybe I just got one of a few that were not well attached and might have missed a sampling? There's glue there, but it only adhered to the center separator, barely any indication of it ever being close to adhesion on the box ends.I've got CDs to store, and want to get it done today. I'll be gluing or stapling the parts on myself and not going through the trouble of making a return. I will probably need one maybe two more boxes, but will not likely be using this product.

I bought a bunch of these: four doubles and two singles. They are a perfect fit for my collection and have an amazing storage capacity; but whether there are no CDs or the boxes are partially full, the snaps just don't hold. You have to be very careful lifting or moving them. Additionally, the double-sized ones that have a center "divider" to make two rows are almost dysfunctional. The dividers are lightly glued at each end and when you go to snap them in place when assembling the boxes, they pull away from the walls. This happened with all of them, so it wasn't a fluke. I am going to glue my snaps and dividers because I need them now and don't want the hassle of returning them. But, if you buy these, you will probably want to secure them somehow, so be prepared. Once they are glued, you won't be able to collapse them if that is your objective.
