Very high quality, great security! Cover rotates to protect locking mechanism.

Works great on my E-150.Pro tip: heat the bolts before removal! The bolts holding the strike plate had locktite and I almost stripped them out before noticing. I pulled out a torch and heated them from the inside. MASSIVE difference! First door took me nearly twenty minutes to install on, but after heating the bolts the rest were an easy, less than five minute install.I also struck the plates multiple times with a hammer to get them to open a little wider but then I saw in the instructions that it may be necessary to cut 1/8th of weatherstripping where the new plates are so that would resolve the issue. Anyway, the plates would not budge no matter how much I struck them. Certainly a five star on security from prying/striking.I didn’t think the plates would actually clear the door and they would no longer close once installed, I was wrong, they fit almost perfectly and the lock is very sturdy.

I'm pretty happy with the locks. They have been installed on a E250 with side split doors. For some reason, it's hard to remove the rear door lock not sure if there is an issue with the bracket, I've been too busy checking but other than that they work great and look pretty slick! "Just remember" if a thief wants to break into your vehicle to steal your tools he will figure out a way! But at least he/she/they will struggle. Will highly recommend it. Securing your investment is a priority.

Fairly straightforward and easy install. Seems to be a legit system for securing vehicle against petty theft. Unfortunately the keys are pretty soft metal and the key to my rear doors snapped off in the lock - now I have no access to rear of work van unless I want to pay a locksmith almost the cost of buying the SlickLocks to begin with 😕

IF YOU HAVE A WORK VAN WITH VALUABLE TOOLS INSIDE, YOU GOT TO GET THIS. I had the brackets on my van but didn't have the actual lock. My van was broken into and they got about $6,000.00 of tools. Eve though they were able to get the pad locks I had on the brackets, they twisted the brackets so bad they couldn't get the doors open. If I have the Slick-locks on the brackets, they may still have gotten in, but would have done less damage and made it harder. This is well worth the minimal investment and super easy to install

Very nice product. It looks great! One tip - The star head T40 screws that hold the door latches on have thread locker on them so heat them up with a torch and they will come right out! If you don't you will have a heck of a time getting them out! And if you strip them or break them you can't buy them easily online. (I couldn't find them at all actually.)Also, the door seal on the side doors doesn't fit well after the locks are on (it's too tight) so just be prepared for that. I need to shut the door slowly now and tuck it behind the bracket when shutting the door. I might just access the van from the back now. Minor bummer

Decided to get these even though they are the most expensive. The reason was the installation seemed simple and clean. All you have to do is remove a few existing bolts and put the plates under the existing latching plate. Well those bolts are specially made and are anything but easy to remove. I got it done but make sure the star sockets you have are ultra HD / impact grade. The ends of the stock Ford bolts are oblong and fight you all the way out. They are not made for easy removal. Still it's better than drilling big fat holes through your van doors IMO. I really like these after using for several weeks. I was worried that they would be a pain to lock and unlock often but found that they are very easy to remove/replace even with the spinners I got with them. I got the weather seals too. It will probably hardly use them. I'd get these locks again.
