Watched my friend fight with the little pieces of shrink plastic and thought "got to be a better way". Then remembered this tool from Sizzix and thought would be a good birthday present. Ordered and gave it to her at next get together (her birthday was two days later so it was good timing). She loved the concept and loved the tool even more cuz it worked so well for what she was shrinking. Highly recommend and will be getting one for myself and another crafting buddy for her birthday. Can't go wrong with such a good idea. :)

I have to admit that I was hesitant to pay for these as I assumed I could just use similar items I found around my house. I was wrong, this set has made my shrink it journey so much easier especially because I make small pieces like pins and magnets with them. I use a heat gun for all my projects so this has been a life saver from all the fly away pieces and I get perfect results.

Well worth the money if you’re going to shrink plastic with a heat gun, no burning of fingers and easy to keep control of the plastic.

The whole idea is really good, but the screen mesh was supposed to be heavy enough to hold the shrink underneath steady and straight, but the mesh is so light that it lifts as the shrink shrinks and distorts it completely. According to the pictures the grid frame was supposed to be metal but in fact it is made of silicone.
