I was disappointed in this water bottle. It smells like plastic, unlike advertised. Water seems to get hot really quickly in it even with ice. It fits in the cage on my bike, is relatively easy to squeeze, but the watergate cap is difficult to use and to clean. I would definitely not buy this again, don't care for it at all.

I'm really happy with high flow and easy to clean valve. Turns out i didn't realize how crummy my other water bottles were until i purchased this one! I don't detect any extra taste or sent from the bottle, and I like how flexible the bottle is. Good stuff. Get it!

This bottle works great for my rides. Great that it is also BPA free!

Quality bottle, using for years. Not a fan of this cap while riding. Easy enough to get water out, but then you have to work or wait for the bottle to expand before putting back in the cage. This is less than ideal when you’re in a group at pace or racing. I’d rather it leak a bit than to struggle for a drink of water.

The shape and material of the nozzle collect much more dust and dirt than the typical “old fashioned” bike bottles. The shape has a depression that collects dirt and makes it impossible to wipe clean with a corner of jersey or back of glove. The material of the nozzle is soft rubber which dirt also sticks to more readily.I tried it on several rides and consistently get more dirt with every drink than any other bottle. It’s a step backward in bottle design rather than forward. It’s fine for road riding probably.

The design of the top makes it so you'll never get the last oz (or maybe I'm doing it wrong?), but otherwise it's a quality bottle that has held up.You have to squeeze the bottle to squirt the contents, and the seals is a little too tight, so you end up over-squeezing. The last little bit of water gets pushed away from the opening by air wanting to escape, so it's difficult to get the last bit of liquid.

I bought two of these and absolutely love them. I far prefer them over my Polar Insulated bottles, which were too stiff due to the double walls and made my water taste like plastic. The Purist bottles are flexible, fit much more quickly and securely in my bottle mounts, and the water tastes great, which encourages me to drink more. The spout allows the perfect amount of water to flow consistently so I don't wind up with too much volume in one blast and choke myself. The only drawback without the insulation is the water doesn't stay cold, but as I said squeezing the bottle is easier with the single wall design, and all I have to do is add ice. They're perfect for me and I highly recommend them.
