So of course I bought 2 misplaced 1. My 9 year old niece asked me why I didn't just ziplock the other and keep it in the bag compartment like she keeps things in her tote.I have approx 15 hrs of vacuum time on this replacement and it works well.Well worth the money.

This belt, purchased on Amazon from Vacuum Fix, is about 4-5 mm narrower than the original 7000 series belt. Thinking maybe Simplicity changed the specs, and my query to Vacuum Fix unanswered, I bought some new OEM SB7-2 belts on 7/10/2020. They match the original, which is about 18mm wide.I didn't try the Vacuum Fix version, so can't tell you it doesn't fit or doesn't work fine. But Simplicity has eliminated their expensive packaging for belts, so I expect if they thought a narrower belt would work just as well, they'd cut back there, too.

This belt fit our Simplicity Symmetry Vac perfectly. I don't know where they came up with the dimensions for this belt in the description, but it is NOT 2 inches wide. My broken belt was 17.5 inches long and I was concerned about the fit, but it was exactly what I needed. And the bonus is that I got two for a price that was less than what I paid for one at my local Vac Store.
