I bought this to provide a good seal to some baffles and providing an airtight seal to where I'd attach them. The provided adhesive is insufficient but I found I could get them to seal by:1. sand silicon side without adhesive with 60 grit or higher sand paper2. removing adhesive and cleaning sanded side with acetone3. sanding and cleaning (with appropriate cleaner/solvent) the place I'd attach them to4. a light coating of "gorilla glue" applied to surface and pressing/clamping silicone to it.Best of luck

I cut circles and applied them to the bottoms of stainless steel vacuum insulated tumblers. After 5 months, still adhering. I hand wash the tumblers. I don't let the rubber bottom soak in hot soapy water; I just wash and rinse. Works great to cushion the bottom and protect surfaces where I set the tumblers.

I needed to replace the old rubber gaskets on my glass shower door. I was able to easily cut the rubber to the shape I needed and stuck them to the hinges. So for the heavy glass door has not slipped and everything is working.
