No instructions, no hardware to install. Almost impossible to adjust brace while sitting in chair at home. Can't imaging problems would be sitting in kayak trying to adjust positions.

It was easy to modify them for my trolling motor foot steering controls. Made of rugged material.

Easy install after a trip to the hardware store for stainless steel bolts & nuts, which I expected after reading reviews. The pegs are hard to adjust but as long as only one person is using the kayak it's not a problem.

If you have an inflatable kayak and want to add foot braces, this is a great product! All you need to do is grab a couple pieces of rope, a couple of 3in carabiners and that's it! Attach the rope to the farthest hole in the foot rest and attach carabiners to the other end of the rope. The length of the rope should allow the legs to stretch almost completely. Now attach the carabiners to the D-Loops of the seats and you are done! This setup also works for an iSUP with a seat, but for that you need two more ropes with carabiners to attache to the front D-Loops, preferably, tie-down ropes.

These are pretty good foot braces for kayaks that didn't come with any, or ones that need replacement/upgrade. The foot pads are large enough to get a decent grip, without taking up too much real-estate in the cockpit. They are easy to adjust (one foot behind, one in front, squeeze, move, release). They seem to have ample adjustment as well, and can be used by my 5'-tall wife, my 6'4" son, or anyone between. They also seem very sturdy and solidly lock in position.Mounting was straight-forward... pick your spot, drill, and mount with provided hardware. I drilled from inside the boat to ensure mounting holes lined up properly (due to curvature). My only issue was the included hardware was not that great... functional, yes, but not top-quality. I opted to replace the hardware with better quality stainless steel bolts and nuts, and use thicker marine-grade neoprene washers outside and inside the boat to ensure a better seal. The included hardware was also a bit short for a thicker-walled yak, or would have stuck way out on a very thin-walled yak. Your mileage may vary, but be prepared to pick up some better hardware of appropriate length.

Very stiff adjustment release mechanism. Low price, but low quality.

I had bought two Sealution Sea Kayaks, and one had its boot brace missing. This was a perfect match...
