I was worried about installation but it takes common sense, mostly. The shifter works great but needs adjustment when and after installation. Very nice and will buy again.

I matched the make/model of my old shifter to this one. It is a slightly updated design, so it doesn't perfectly match the left. However, it is a better design, and works perfectly and smoothly. I was a little nervous about being able to do the swap myself, but it was a lot easier than I expected.

Shifter came in quickly, within a few days. Retail box with shift cable, end cap, and instructions. More like notice than instructions. Shimano did not comes with brake cable. This is an Altus unit, so the quality and built is far superior than torney class. Easy to dial into the rear derailleur, no fuss.
