I bought this sun shade to build a nice shady area in my backyard for my dog so he would not be directly in the sun as there is no shad I. The backyard. It worked nicely, giving him ample shade. It's made of durable material and looks great. I've had it up for almost a year and it's still in great shape. It is woven and not a complete block out though so if your looking for a tighter niy woven sun shade, this one may not be for you but works well for my needs.

Gets the job done but I live in a windy area so it's annoying

I've had these going on the 3rd year this spring and they seem to be holding up pretty well. They do shrink a bit when the weather is colder but survive wind and rain no problem while providing good shade but still allowing light through.

We needed something to shade an area of the backyard but did not have space for an umbrella. This sail shade is perfect. One recommendation though is to not leave it up when it is raining. This is our second purchase because due to our own fault, the previous one stretched because we left it up during several torrential rain storms. HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS PRODUCT!

A great product for keeping UV rays off; allowing air to circulate through. The Royal Blue colour looks amazing atop of my new deck (pressure treated wood in brown, with black metal spindles). I bought the shade in size 8ft. X 10ft.; for the deck size 10ft. X 14ft. The metal fasteners are sold separately and are adjustable for attaching the shade.Sorry, I did not take a picture, when deck was finally finished in September 2023. I had an operation, that kept me indoors. Husband’s 2 small grandsons got to play on it and celebrate their birthdays together; all three of them. Lol!

Shade cloth looks well made (it's been up for 2 days now)See how the amazon pic shows cloth hanging FLAT above? There's no conceivable way John Q. Homeowner could get these FLAT like thatwithout a TREMENDOUS effort, or unless they use a ratchet-winch.I used heavy work gloves (think Welder gloves) to pull on 550lb test paracord. It was all I could do to stretch over the cleats welded to poles for this project.(I'm 200lbs and not quite in the grave...yet)(I hung 3" swivel pulleys atop each pole...after stretching, the poles that are 1.5" Sch 40steel pipe x 21ft long are slightly bowed which is NOT a problem) My only disappointmentis that I'll need to get a winch if I want these shades higher & flatter.THEN I'd be concerned about the shade cloth web strap sewn into the edge bandI'd need to know it'd take the added tension. It's a good product but don't expect to get your shade flat unless you have 3 men and a monkeyto pull enough tension on corners and something SOLID to anchor said hooks, ropes, etc.

Material of sail was nice and perfect for shade. Our problem was the cable on one side broke due to heavy winds. We had to purchase a heavier cable to prevent it happening again.
