I took a chance on this one since it was 1/2 the cost. I just put it on and it fits my 4 door JL very well with no flapping. Seems well constructed and should last a long time. Well worth it!

I purchased the gray front and rear panels for the 2-door hardtop Wrangler JL 2021. The product arrives in a reusable case should you wish to remove it over the winter months.Relatively 'easy' to install if you take the time to view available YouTube installation videos beforehand.Bungees vs. straps do provide the extra level of tension I was looking for to keep the mesh screens tight and eliminate flopping when driving. It was only installed a few days ago, so I cannot comment on its durability. However, the materials appear consistent with the replaced MasterTop bimini top, which is still strong after three years.

Honestly, I think this mesh topper set for my JL Wrangler is my favorite after market accessory. These fit perfectly, were easy to install, and provide that little layer of protection from the sun when your top is off. These have prevented sun burn on my scalp and helped mitigate how soaked I got when caught out in the rain. I can't recommend them enough!Note that in order to fully install the front topper, you'll have to lower your windshield to get the elastic around the roll cage. Still - this was an easy install for 1 person to manage.

I was able to install the front sunshade on a 2024 JLU, though it took a bit more effort than I expected. The shade definitely does its job of creating shade from the sun and reducing wind and wind-noise in the cabin when in motion. No problem on the highway at higher speeds; it held tight and secure without flapping around. The install was a bit more difficult than I was expecting. I started at the front and worked my way toward the back. I was not able to find a gap anywhere along the top of the windshield as described in the instructions, so i needed to remove the windshield bolts to get the bungees through. While not particularly difficult, this was not expected. I did not lay the windshield down, just loosened enough to get the paper "tool" through. For the next sections along the two front doors I was concerned about the new curtain airbags in the 2024 JLU. I found that there were actually holes I could pull the bungees through that allowed me to secure the shade without going completely around the roll bar itself. This was done by pushing the bungee through the bottom hole pulling it up through the top hole (you can see these holes with the Freedom Panels removed). Then, I put the bungee through the shade's grommet and went around the outside of the roll bar bringing it around the ball on the bungee to secure it. You can see examples of this in the attached pictures. I used a similar approach for the back doors. This seems to work fine though if you're planning to use those holes for something else, such as a grab bar, then I'm not sure how you would work around the airbag issue.Going this route requires a fair amount of strength to pull the bungees around, which is actually an issue I experienced for most of the bungees. I appreciate that they need to be tight in order to do their job but I feel the bungees are just a little too short for this particular model. This was most obvious for the rearmost bungees where it took a considerable amount of force to pull the them around the roll bar far enough to secure them. I had to pull so hard that I faced away from them fearing they would break (they did not break). As a side note, if you have the hardtop installed I recommend getting a wire hanger or similar to help pull the bungees through since the clearance is pretty tight. The paper "tool" is neither long enough or strong enough. Don't use metal on the windshield area as it may damage the sealing.Aside from the front four bungees, the remaining ones could benefit by being at least a couple of inches longer. As a result of all of this, this sun shade appears a little bit more stressed than I would expect at the grommets. While this certainly holds it tight, it doesn't have the same even appearance that I would expect (and prefer) based on the manufacturer photos. Also, I had no problem reinstalling the freedom panels with the sun shade in place. Doing so only requires that you reach around the sun shade slightly to secure the latches.Overall I think this is a good product at a reasonable price. If you plan to install this and leave it in place on your 2024 JL or JLU it will probably be fine. If you intend to install it and remove it regularly it may require more effort than you want to put into it. Longer bungees would help here, as would the use of some hooks. My recommendation to the manufacturer is to review if the bungees need to be longer for the 2024 models, include the alternate installation method in the instructions to accommodate the new airbags, and perhaps spend an extra 85-cents for a longer/stronger rigid plastic tool rather than a paper one.

I purchased this shadeidea sunshade front & back mesh top to replace a front only spiderweb mesh shade on a ‘22 2-door Wrangler. I love the spiderweb shade, but needed the extended coverage for the rear section. I was now expecting much for a product half the price, but I am extremely satisfied with the purchase. If you’ve installed bungee style shun shades before, than the install of this shade is very easy. It took me about 10 minutes to uninstall the spiderweb and then to install the shadeidea. I did have to lower my windshield to uninstall the spiderweb, so that access made it easier fish the front bungees around the windshield frame. After that, it was just a matter of attaching the 8 remaining bungees. The materials used seem to be as good a quality as the more expensive sunshades. The only major difference is that the bungees with the shadeidea dare not attached. That may be beneficial if the bungees ever break or lose elasticity. They can easily be replaced. As for coverage, it completely covers the top with the softtop sunrider back. With the top completely down, it covers 3/4 of the top, stopping just above the read passenger’s head. When traveling at highway speeds, there is no flapping sound from the rear section, and minimal flapping on top of the soundbar. As a bonus, the mesh bag for the passenger grab bar was very much appreciated, and the top came packaged in a nice zipped case with the bungees in their own bag. I was apply to put my old sunshade in the case for safe storage if I ever need it again.I would highly recommend the Shadeidea mesh sunshade for anyone with a 2 door wrangler. Finding full coverage for the 2 door is difficult, and this is an excellent product at an unbeatable price.

Very impressed and high quality. The paper strap used for feeding the bungies between the front windscreen is folded in half and if you try to use it this way it wont work (difficult). Recommend folding over only 5cm of the end and feed the long part between the windscreen 1st. When you get to the folded part just guide it in. It will stay folded over until it comes out the other side.
