I bought this to make a belt for a gift. Initially I was sceptical because of the low price, but this is some of the nicest leather I've worked with. The color is a rich chocolate, the thickness is perfect, and the leather has a wonderful broken-in feel , soft but strong. My new favorite leather.

This came in 2 pieces in case anyone needed a full length.With my needs this is fine.It is a nice 1/4 inch thick leather.I bought the 3 inch wide to make better strap width pads for my shoulder holster across the top front.

A 2x4 is 3 1/2 in wide 1 and 1/2 in thick that's why I ordered a three and a half inch wide strap fit perfectly a little two way tape and three long magnets and some green micro fine honing compound which is the proper compound to sharpen.. the white is for jewelry not good. My straight razor has never been so sharp.

I bought 6 of these straps for a project. As the description state the length of the straps will vary. Mine ranged from 68 inches to 78. Some of the straps were not cut square so be advised. The straps really were heavy wait and I used them as backing and support for a rocking chair. The leather was a bit stiff but became pliable with use. They are holding up really well and would definitely be good for use in belts and harnesses.

Worked out fine for my project. Good value. I found the finished side of the leather a little too smooth and would have preferred a rougher finish for my purposes but it is nice leather as advertised. Cut very well.

The strap is quite thick and seems to be of good quality. Unfortunatly, it is thicker than I need so I don't think I will be able to use it for my project.
