I sent them back after speaking to them on returning it.. They received it back and claimed they sent refund to my bank.... I never did receive the refund. Handle bars where not of "vintage" style or quality. If you are a Gen X wanting the 10 speed style back again because this new style doesn't cut it, just don't buy this. Nothing lines up the same and the the front meeting sections are bare and raw. I used to wrap my hands around the top front parts for easy access to either breaking options. This is not optional and top paddle bars don't line up correctly or long enough. Run away Gen Xers

I needed replacement brakes on a 1980 Schwinn 10 speed.... I searched on line, amazon came up.... done deal... perfect price and fit......

I bought an older home last summer from the original owner. In the garage was a Schwinn Word Tourist in excellent condition. I swapped out the cruiser bars for some nice vintage drop bars and these brake levers. I love the chrome look and they really brought the whole look together.

had to modify them a little to work on newer road bike, but they work great, the holes for the cables were to big, so had to drill them out and use adjuster to make up the difference

Works great very smoothe, but the extended lever is awkward and short so reaching it without having the lever set up high on the bars is difficult. But works well and really like the impossibility of the brake cable slipping
