The chain works well in warm weather and cold days just not extremely cold days. I had a hard time trying to unlock the lock. They said the lock doesn't rust which is not true. I had to use some warm water to unlock the lock and it rusted afterwards on the cold days

Great lock for what there is of it. I have a very narrow "patio" ( runner to a fire escape). I brought this to secure an electric grill to the banister. This thing while made very well, Is barely long enough to justify having. My patio is about 4 ft wide, and my grill a table top is now kissing the banister and still choking.I would need to buy at least 2 more chains for this to make sense. Not happy..

The chain was very thick and durable but they didn’t send my lock and key so I had to return it. Very disappointing.

Solid lock and chain combination. The chain is decently long and the lock, while a little bulky, does come with four keys. Albeit rather thick keys, I've never seen any this thick. Why did I pick this set, that simple...security. I wanted to be able to ensure that if I need to lock my motorcycle to something, that it would indeed be secure. While I'm sure a good locksmith could pick the lock, I don't see an average joe being able to do so. Overall, great product.

Even though the dimensions are listed I was kind of surprised at how heavy this chain is. I have included pictures that include a quarter for scale. It seems to be pretty good quality chain with welded links. It could probably be cut with large bolt cutters but it would probably be quite a bit of work and would deter most thieves from even trying. The lock also is pretty beefy but it has a strange cut on the keys. I am not a locksmith so I don't know if that makes them more secure, or less secure. I have included a picture of the keys so you can see what I mean. There is probably not any lock and chain or lock and cable that is going to deter all thieves but this one will probably deter most of them.To help understand how I rate items:Five stars - The product exceeded my expectations. I really love it and would actively suggest it to friends and would certainly purchase it again if needed.Four stars - The product met my expectations. It does what it claims to do. I like it and would recommend it to someone if they asked about it. I would most likely purchase it again if needed .Three stars - The product is average and for the most part does what it claims. There may be a few things I don't like about it. If I recommended it to someone, I would state my reservations. I may purchase it again if I could not find a better alternative.Two stars - The product fell far short of my expectations. It may, in some respects, do what it claims to do but has far too many problems to overlook. I would never recommended it to someone nor would I ever purchase it again. There is a good possibility I would return it.One star - The product is terrible. It has way too many cons and few if any pros. I would actively warn my friends away from it and would most likely return it if possible.
