Your cart is empty.The Sea to Summit Ultra-Sil Compression Sack squishes down bulky clothing and gear to one-third the size to maximize packing space when backpacking, camping, or traveling. Manufactured from bluesign-approved 30D Ultra-Sil Cordura nylon, its slippery finish makes it easy to slide bags into tight spaces for better packing. An attached flip-top lid prevents tangled straps, and hides a drawcord closure for quick and easy access to bag contents. Three straps allow for max capacity and even compression, and feature two ladderlock and one side release buckle. The Sea to Summit Ultra-Sil Compression Sack has a round base with a reinforced webbing pull handle for easy carry. Seams are double stitched, and reinforced at stress points for added strength and durability. Available in five sizes: 5 liter, 8 liter, 13 liter, 20 liter, and 35 liter, to carry everything from small essentials to group gear. Sea to Summit products are guaranteed against defects in materials or workmanship for the lifetime of the product. (Note that stuff sacks do not have taped seams or a roll-top closure; they are water-resistant, not waterproof.)

Title says it all. I ordered two (35L). They work well, are light and strong. Not sure yet if they are worth the $$. Ordered the zinnia yellow, and it’s much closer to safety orange. Which is okay, but a mild disappointment.

It does not quite compress as much as advertised, and it is somewhat cumbersome to use. That said, it does provide substantial compression and make it possible for me to include more in my carry on.

I just received the 5L bag and it will suit you for literally one days change of clothes. First the material is really nice and if it’s like other Sea Two Summit products, it will last me a long time. If you are going on a weekend backpacking trip and only expect to change your clothes once or just need an extra set in case it rains… I was able to stuff one pair of cargo shorts, one pair of jogging shorts, one t-shirt, one pair of wool socks, and one pair of under armor boxer shorts and had a little room to spare might be able to get a 2nd t shirt and pair of socks in. Hope this helps with the sizing.

This compression sack exceeded my expectations. My old REI 9X21 stuff sack's insides were shedding and all those little dark gray micro polyester/nylon shreds were everywhere. I had a hard time at first choosing which size I needed for this replacement sack, as most compression sacks go by weight (liters). I only knew the dimensions. This sack, even though it measures 8X18 (14 Liters), it is perfect to replace my old REI compression sack. Highly recommend.
