When you need to compress volume without significantly adding weight, the Ultra-Sil Compression Sack is an excellent solution. Made from a 30D diamond rip-stop siliconized CORDURA fabric they can be compressed to one third of the original volume. Ideal for use inside your pack or travel bag when you need to compress clothing or bulky soft items to allow space for other essentials or fun holiday items.
CORDURA FABRIC
We use Cordura brand high strength nylon fabrics as the base for a number of our products before we further strengthen it with a siliconization process. This fabric has an incredible tear strength to weight ratio and will surprise you consistently with what it can handle.
What this bag could hold
- 6 liter: a layer, beanie, and gloves
- 10 liter: a puffy jacket & a compact sleeping bag
- 15 liter: all your clothes for a trip
- 20 liter: a tent or any Sea to Summit sleeping bag
- 30 liter: Sea to Summit sleeping bag and your extra layers
An incredibly lightweight yet durable fabric used in a large number of Sea to Summit products. This 30 denier Nylon is made with CORDURA yarns for strength, woven into a ripstop pattern. Two versions of the fabric are used:
- water-resistant products (such as the Ultra-Sil Stuff Sacks) are siliconized on both sides for ultimate packability
- waterproof products (such as the UltraSil Dry Sack are) siliconized on the outside and PU-coated on the inside to allow seam taping.
Both versions have a hydrostatic head greater than 2000mm – which makes them more than adequately waterproof for the types of environments they are intended for.

I tried three times to get a stuff sack large enough for my blanket. Amazon sellers do not always list the correct volume of the bags and even the measurements vary from one manufacturer to another. Due to this issue I took a couple tries to get this one but the material is great and the bag fits everything I need. My only concern for time is the drawstring is smaller than any others I have but the nice part is that can always be replaced with a shoe string.

Je l'ai utilise plusieurs mois lorsque je voyagais à vélo, il m'a permis de bien protéger le sac de compression avec mon sac de couchage mit devant le guidon. Léger, résistant, et bien imperméable sauf dans la petite parti qui sert d'ouverture du sac mais c'est dû à ma manière de l'utiliser, qui fut amplement satisfaisante.

Contrairement a ce qui est annoncé ce sac n'est pas étanche, il n"a pas de sysrem roll top. La description est totalement erronée.
