The hose clip is easily the weakest link in a scuba kit -- and the plastic will eventually give way; but the price was decent for a generally disposable piece of equipment . . .

it retains hoses. not much to review. i mean its not like theres people out there securing their hoses with duct tape and wondering if some day they can save up to buy this fancy hose retaining clip. works well, its sturdy.

I bought a number of these to help student divers secure their gear. I’ve not used them but tries them out in mine and my wife’s gear and they seemed to work well, snug fit so very secure but definitely works. You can never have too many extras thrown in your kit just in case.

All things considered this is a great product. Please note as stated in other posts that this works perfectly with smaller/flex hoses however some hoses are much thicker they do fit it is a tight squeeze. In my case I took a Dremel and cut/ground off the two small inner tabs for the clip to hold my Atomic LP Reg Hose, this worked perfectly. I'm not suggesting that you alter this product in any way but if you do it helps immensely. For my octo with a flex (MiFlex) LP hose this works/hold perfectly out of the box. If you dive with "experienced" or "Tec" Divers they may say that this clip is very vulnerable to entanglement hazards but for 99% of open water rec/sport divers this is not a concern. IF this does get caught on something it is easily removed so worst case just unclip it and leave it in place. I highly doubt that it would ever come to that but in fairness it should be mentioned. Dive smart dive safe.

Perfect for clipping your octo hose to a D-ring on your BC, to keep you both streamlined and safe. In addition to being functional, this is a very sturdy clip- another diver set a tank on top of it while we were piling gear up in the boat but this clip showed no damage.
