Great to have if your Scotty rod holder starts popping or as in my case I used two for the end on my extensions and screwed them to it.

Pros:1. Original product - straight from the company who makes the system. Rest assured.2. Build - for a smaller component out of the many systems they make, the form of this piece is solid. I'm sure other people who have bought a whole set already know this, but as of for me, this is my first time buying anything from Scotty. (The previous owner of the Kayak lost the piece)Price - honestly, the pice is fair, for a 24 dollar system (including the rod holder part), I say it's worth it. But if you need the screw with it, just buy the hold system.Cons:1. No screw included - weird that it comes with the nut part of the screwing portion, but no screw... I knew this was the case before buying it but I would have paid a little more to get it as a package instead of buying it ala carte. (Will update review with the right screw to use to substitute the screw that would have been the OEM piece.)

Same ones that come with the Scotty rod holders. I'm using them for the legs of a duck blind mounted in Scotty rod holder bases, worked well.

Bought 2 of these to make a gopro pole for my kayak. They work very well and made out of quality material. Scotty is an awesome brand and a go to for all my kayak mounting needs.
