Purchased to mount rod holders on my Aire Sea Tiger Inflatable Kayak. For the record, you might call these ... UNIVERSAL ... as they will work with any rod holder base with a 1-5/6" x 3-3/16" rectangular hole spacing.Heads Up ... play around with location before you permanently attach them. I'll be using duct tape for temp positioning and then construction grade 3M double-sided tape. Hoping THAT does the trick !!

This item was a great edition to my inflatable boat paired with the scotty fishing rod holder. The material comes flexible and is already a bit curved which makes it easier to glue on to the tubes of my boat. I used lots of glue and kept applying constant hand and finger pressure making sure that mostly the corners and edges stayed flat. I also used a hair dryer. It helped to adhere the corners most.

I purchased this Scotty pad to glue onto a float tube, to attach a fish finder mount. As with all the Scotty products I've purchased in the past, this pad is made well. The pad is made from a tough rubber type material and the only possible issue that one might have is the fact that it's stiff. The pad has a slight curvature to it, so it generally will glue well to most float tubes. However, because of this slight curvature and stiffness, if your requirement is to glue it to something smaller in diameter than a float tube, you may have an issue getting the pad to glue in place because it won't be able to be bent much beyond it's inherent curvature. Most people use these pads to glue to a float tube or flatter kayak surfaces, so you should be just fine for these types of needs.

I bought three of these and used HH-66 PVC glue to install on my inflatable boat. I’m using them to mount anchor lock, transducer mount and fish finder. Works really well.

I like how easy it was to adhere to my SUP, the size seems perfect, the prep work was simple enough that no instructions were needed to get these mounted securely and with the included square nuts already preinstalled into the mount, very nice. However, the description mentioned all hardware would be included for the mount, I was missing the 1/2" SS screws for all 4 packages and the 7/8" size in one....1 package had no mounting hardware at all. Guess I'm heading to the Home Depot for the missing hardware. At least I'm able to mount two of the four attachments using the included 7/8" screws.

Follow the instruction for gluing these on and they will stick like they were welded on... well, chemically they kinda are.I got these to create motor mount points for my BOTE inflatable kayak. I machined an aluminum plate for the motor cross-bar mounting. The strain I put on them, I'm sure, was over the design criteria. They flexed, stretched, but never failed. I'm pretty sure they would work for a base for oar locks.

Only suitable for adhesion to a flat surface. The pad is too rigid, and whilst heat allows it to be bent to the shape of an inflatable, once it cools it lifts and the 3M is not strong enough to prevent the pad from wanting to return to its original flat shape.

I added a couple of these to our inflatable dinghy to hold GPS and rod holders. The price is reasonable and the quality is great. They are easy to install, though the glue can be expensive. I think for our purpose, we could have used cheaper one part glue. We were also adding a couple D rings for the davit and that requires two part glue for strength. But these holders would be fine with one part glue.

Works exactly as it should. Glued to my Advanced Elements Straight Edge for holding Scotty rod holders. When securing them to my inflatable I had to get creative and ran rope through my bilge plugs to tightly secure the glue-on pad to my boat's pontoon like outer portions. Once tied down the pads contoured perfectly to the shape of my boat and I've not had any issues with them peeling or getting loose.Be sure to fill the screw holes with something or mask them off from the bottom before glueing the pad on, if not the screw holes will fill with glue. If this does happen I would just screw down the base to your rod holder or whatever before the glue sets up blocking your screws permanently.
