Does what its supposed to do for less $ than the others. I get a lot of fishing time (years) out of 1 line. The more often its cleaned and dressed the longer it will last. Black Again Exterior trim restorer works well.

After hours and hours of research, I have really learned that SA is the best bang for your buck brand. If you want to save a few dollars and not lose the quality, this is in my opinion the only brand that offers that. I think the Sonar is MUCH better after fishing with a family members rod on Green River but this has really worked well for me too. I don't love the yellow on the line but I do like the extreme color difference between the sink tip and main line so you know where it is. I would buy again.

Good line for 50 bucksThrows hard(i can get the whole line out when casting)sinks nice (seems to sink faster than Rio's 15ft type III)does NOT knot when casting (you know, when you have lots of line out and are throwing it out there, lots of line has a tendency to tangle (not the flies- the fly line itself before it goes through the guides)only issue - after about 5 sessions (45-50 hours of use) the line freyed/broke at the tip. still usable, but i wouldn't trust it on a big fish. i ordered 2 more of these, 1 in 5wt and 1 in 6wt.my preferred sinktip line type III!

Scientific Anglers have been my go-to fly line since the early 1960"s due to their consistent performance and quality. Your flyrod is only as good as the fly line and Scientific Anglers is the best.
