Fantastic line. Took me a while to get used to how well it “shoots”. Eliminated a lot of false casting and I still have plenty of range. No loop on the backing end but a quick nail knot takes care of that small issue. Wish this came in other colors but the willow is easy to see. Highly recommend this line. Casts great with very little effort. I’ve used a lot of the more expensive brands but I’ve found found my line. It’s an excellent value.

I have never been a believer that expensive is better. So after much research I purchased this inexpensive line. I was replacing Rio Gold on a Scott radian and Scientific anglers MPX on a Orvis hydros. The reviews said that this was a good line for fast action rods and performed like a high dollar line. Again, I have never put a ton of stock in the more money, the better. Let me tell you this line was obviously worse. I struggled to cast like before. It was work just to get my line on the water. Then, it sunk like a rock from the first moment it hit the water. I don't like leaving poor reviews to damage companies, but wanted to share. Bottom line, I threw it in the garbage after only 2 uses on both reels and purchased the Rio Gold for both. Fished it today and it was a dream. Easy to cast and floated well.

Solid line, can't beat it for the price. Been using it for a few months now. Started to notice some things I didn't like. The line isn't as slick as more expensive line, doesn't shoot great. And the biggest gripe is that it doesn't float that well. In any type of current the line won't stay on the surface. Makes indicator fishing kind of frustrating at times. Can't mend and get a good drift when the line is under water. After using my anandro line it's easy to see why this line is less expensive.
