The line casts well but the welded loop failed right away. I threw just a few practice casts in my backyard after unboxing and the loop just came apart. Never even tried to fish with it.

I had to return the first Scientific Anglers Tropical Titan Fly Line I received because there was a hole in the line exposing the core. The replacement line is full of lumps and bumps and has visible transitions between the taper sections. The textured finish collects dirt and salt and very quickly becomes sticky. I do not recommend this line.
