Very tight, both Ito wrap,Tsuka and hardware. Attention to detail was very good and usually overlooked. All features were above expectations. 1095 Blade was tempered as it should be, with my file skating across the tang prior to changing hardware, personal leather wrap, Seppas, etc. A bargain, Good Job Artisans..

I was advised to never buy a katana off amazon. But I am glad I went ahead bought one. This sword is beautiful and solid. No loose threads, great balance, no loose connections, completely straight blade, no blemishes anywhere. Perfect for display and just to swing around. Best sword for the money. You don’t need a $200+ sword to feel confident in the quality. This is a great product

There's about 6 swords under 100 that are the best buys and of those 3 really stand out. This one is middle price wise. For 10 or 20 bucks less you can get 1060 steel white handle sword blue blade. This sword here claims to be 1095. So if you like the look better this might be your choice. For 10 or 20 more you can get one with a real hamon and much more beautiful imo. I prefer the cheaper and more expensive options. But no buyer regrets. They are all built the same imo. It's just what your prefer in looks. I only bought this because I wanted a 1095. But 1060 spring t10 all seem good to me. Just make sure you don't get stainless and sword is full tang unless it's just a decoration. Even then might as well spend 10 bucks more and get 1040 1060 so you could use it if you change your mind.

This sword is a great budget sword. The quality is actually surprisingly very good for this price point. The steel is a very solid steel, which is one of the reasons I chose this sword myself. The shape is great. The sword itself is beautiful. The blade feels very balanced in weight and the grip is actually a very good quality grip, both on looks and feel. My only complaint is, as a professional knife and blade sharpener myself, the edge itself wasn't up to par with my minimum sharpness expectations for a sword. The edge geometry was not the problem. It was designed and shaped great. The problem was the edge was painted over. It looked great but the paint made it a bit dull in my opinion. Not a big problem for me as I have the equipment and skill to get it shaving sharp as a sword should be at the very minimum in my opinion, but that may be something others who can't sharpen it like I can may have issues with. It is a very good sword, especially for the price point, I'm just very picky with my edges given my profession.
