Average, fittings are typical cheap junk. They feel sturdy but fittings let them down. Priced accordingly.

Very solid product I didn't end up putting them on my bike because I have a mini. Bike, these are definitely for a full size dirt bike but they're very sturdy and I would trust them

I'm impressed with the fit and finish of the unit; they look good on the Rutu Pit bike bars ordered separately.

Have other famous brand of hand guards installed on my other motorcycle that are for sure a superior product and are more expensive of this ones but this ones are good enough for the price and nice looking too

This review is part of the Amazon Vine program. I received this product at no cost to write this review.I am not obligated to promote or endorse this product. This set of handlebar handguards is clearly intended to protect hands from brush while riding a motorcycle off road. However, you may want to know if it can protect your control levers (in the case of a fall) as well.It is always good to be able to ride away from a fall and have full use of your clutch and front brake. The kit will include: 4mm and 5mm allen type wrenches, plastic covered aluminum bars as the main component, hardware and plastic bushings for mounting, but no instructions. The aluminum bars are thinner than, for example, Moose brand bars by about 30% and the plastic deflector covering is brittle. The plastic deflector portion is injection molded over the aluminum core. The screws are of questionable quality. Plan on substituting them with hardware store metric items. This set is identical to those sold by many others on Amazon and I have purchased these before. They fit my full size dirt bike steel handlebars and my one set of aluminum alloy handlebars. They will not fit smaller the bars used on pit bikes (the bend of the handguard is incompatible).A clear piece of tubing in included to cover the expander that fits into the end of your handlebar to shim it if needed.Attempts to bend the plastic covered handguard to fit your applicastion will shatter the plastic brush deflector portion. The handguard does a decent job keeping fingers free from injury due to contact with brush and roost. However, dropping the bike will invariably break off some of the plastic and possible bend the aluminum bar underneath. I let my bike fall to test the strength of the handguard. At zero forward speed it broke the plastic but saved my clutch lever. With more force and forward motion, you may not be able to count on the same result.Yes, the handguards do work for brush bashing. But I don't see them as good crash protection. If your kids are just riding around the yard, this product may save you some repairs and keep their fingers safe.

Initial impression was that they are very heavy duty and nicely manufactured. These are to replace the stock shields that offered minimal hand protection for trail riding. The are aluminum, silver anodized with an integrated plastic shield. There are two sturdy connection points, an expandable plug and a shimmed two bolt threaded clamp. There are shims provided to increase various bar compatibility. A small amount of adjustment was necessary to properly fit, but quite reasonable for a generic universal fit all product. The fixing bolts are chromed with an Allen head, decent quality and much harder than some of the typical fixing bolts. They could stand to be 5 mm longer to ensure complete thread contact on clam shell type clamp. Just a bit extra insurance given these will inevitably get rattled of an occasional tree.

These fit ok on my crf250l. Not really any room to spare. They aren't as beefy and roomy as bark busters, but they'll take a hit and don't look bad.

Mechanics special what I think would be right description. Made with tick aluminum, covered by plastic. I like how it’s look. But you have to adjust little bit depending on your bike. Little bit bent, little bit twist, add extra tube in handbar as originally provided end bolts too loose. Otherwise- nice inexpensive parts. My advice - Think before you buy.
