I used a dull razor blade, and it did not damage to the wall, and made taking down the wall paper very easy with no mess. It was a big waste of my money to open it and see it did not work as well as what I was already using..

This thing is a piece of junk and a complete waste of time. The blade isn't sharp and sits at an odd angle that doesn't get under the paper. Go get a straight blade wall paper scraper with interchangeable razor blades.

A must for wall paper removal, it's a nasty job to begin with.

Not very good, at least not for painted woodchip. Makes it harder to steam off (breaks up rather than coming off in sheets). Get a instead.

I've removed more than my fair share of wallpaper. This is the most helpful tool out there. Pull down the top layer of wallpaper. Use a spray bottle with HOT water and soak the remaining wallpaper underneath. Let it soak for a couple of minutes then remove the rest with this scraper. No scoring, no unnecessary liquid removers. Easiest way to remove wallpaper hands down.

Do not let the picture fool you. It's just a scrapper, not a scorer. The yellow thing is just to hold the scraper.

I have not yet started the project for which this item was purchased. The item was exactly as promised. Specifications on line were entirely accurate. Delivery was prompt and without any problems. I have no complaints about this item or seller and I would reccomend to others. I purchased the product on Amazon because the price was so good and I knew that I would be starting the project next spring.

This is a handy tool to use in conjunction with the wallpaper removal gel. It stays flat on the wall to remove any residual wallpaper without gouging the wall. The blade can be removed for easily cleaning or replacement.

I bought a Zinsser kit that included their wallpaper removal gel (which I haven't needed yet as hot water and vinegar is working well), a "Paper Tiger" scoring tool, and this Paper Scraper tool. I prefer the Paper Scraper to the plain handled scrapers I use for narrower areas. I find I get less hand fatigue and have to concentrate less on avoiding digging the point into the wall as I always seem about to do with the regular scraper. My only real complaint is that I need a new blade, and no one local seems to carry them. A basic blade I found at Home Depot fits, but is really too small, and my work is almost at a stand-still until I can find proper replacement blades. That's how I stumbled upon this review.I had never scraped wallpaper before, but have nine more rooms to scrape in my old, entirely-wallpapered home. For the money, this tool is worth trying, but buy extra blades as soon as you decide you like the Paper Scraper and know you will need them.
