Your cart is empty.Cloth Inserted Sheet is a fabric reinforced rubber made of SBR (Styrene-Butadiene Rubber). Cloth inserted sheet is a rubber sheet with ply(s) of fabric impregnated in the rubber. Cloth inserted sheet material is designed to add stability where mechanical fastening is necessary, and to reduce gasket creep where heavy flange loading is required. The ply(s) of fabric help reduce tearing when fastened. CI sheet is available in a smooth finish and each sheet would have one ply of fabric per each 1/16" of gauge.

The performance of the seller was as expected. I used the material to fabricate a fender skirt for my motorcycle. The design had some sharp corners. The material started to rip at the corners. I have some rubber sheeting, same thickness, from long ago [NOT this seller] that I could not rip by hand. With a scrap piece of the seller's material, I could rip it with moderate effort. The skirt is secured to the motorcycle with plastic push clips. I tried to place the holes so the material is not stretched to line up the holes, but some stretch is unvoidable. I expect it to started tearing at the mounting holes over time. Other than that, it was ok.
