Wheels don’t ride on bearings so when the screws are tightened the wheels refuse to spin freely. The wheels go over a metal sleeve and the sleeve goes over the screw with a washer on either side of the wheel. When you tighten the screw down the whole wheel gets tightened down and won’t spin so I decided to sand down a little of the plastic on the wheel(shown in one of the photos) so the metal sleeve would be longer than the wheel and the screw would tighten down on the sleeve and the plastic wheel would rotate around the static sleeve but the wheel is kinda tight on the sleeve and didn’t allow free spinning so figured that would create heat between the wheel and sleeve. I assume that instead you’re supposed to back out the screw a little so the wheel and sleeve have a little play and the sleeve will spin freely around the screw but then I worry that, though unlikely, on one side the screw could tighten and the other side the screw could loosen over time as you spin the wheels while riding on the wheelie bar. In the end I just said screw it all and bought the Traxxas upgraded wheels with bearings that happen to fit perfectly on the RPM wheelie bar as long as you put 3-4 washers between the wheels and wheelie bars(even comes with the hardware to make the wheels fit on these bars). The only issue is the rubber tires come off those wheels easily but I’m hoping tire glue will fix that (still waiting on tire glue to come in the mail so can not confirm yet). I like the bars and it did a great job of protecting my RPM bumper just didn’t like how stiff the wheels were but I may have had them set up wrong. Either way wish it came with wheels with bearings.In the two photos showing the whole car the rpm wheels are still installed.

These things work perfect on my lcg slash. On 3s it stands up every time the throttle is pressed. These wheelie bars are tucked up out of the way and I can take the racetrack on and still go tear up the street for fun. All I would change is the wheels themselves. They are not on bearings and the plastic wears out. The traxxas aluminum wheels with rubber tires will fit with a spacer.

Wheelie bar works great and looks greats. Fits awesome on my slash. I even put a slash rear bumper on my rustler and have them on it. Has outlasted all my other wheelie bars.

I’ll wear these out with 4s, cheap enough to keep buying more. They save my rear bumpers. (I have 5 4x4 Slash’s)

These work great! These work as advertised. I kept getting my bumper all scratched up when I would punch the throttle. I had already destroyed one bumper due to it dragging/hitting the ground when my Slash would lift up. These of course have stopped that from happening. They are of course low profile and blend in nicely with the rear RPM bumper. That means that they stay out of the way too when jumping off road with my truck.

They work ok and look great but with the angle and how far they stick out they just don't do too much they become more of a pivot point then a wheelie bar.
