It worked fine after I installed it but I noticed it was quite squeaky when I moved the handle, and it didn’t offer a continuously adjustable flow, it was more like all or nothing, unless I used both hands and carefully placed the handle just right, and now it’s started dripping. I’m now buying a Delta brand cartridge, hopefully I’ll have better luck.

Bought this as a replacement in May 2024 and you get what you pay for because it started leaking and making noises every time you used the faucet. Then the handle started to rotate because the stem in the cartridge wasn't centered anymore. Here it is September of 2024 and I just spent the $40 at Homedepot for the factory part.

Received the cartridge in reasonable time, worked fine for first week. The cartridge does not work smoothly(a lot of resistance and properly.

Extremly fast shipping. Perfect fit but. An instruction sheet would have saved me a lot of trouble. the brass piece came out when I unscrewed the decorative cap and I could not get it off the brass. This came with a new brass piece. Finally, after hammering and squeezing, while trying to not break it, I came to the conclusion that I needed a new decoartive piece. I looked at the new brass piece and it has wrench fittings and threads that are covered by the dedorative piece. I went back and with little difficulty unscrewed it and then put the whole thing back together. I noticed that there was a gasket on the new cartridge and on the faucet. I put them together and immediatly got leakes, when tested. It only works with one gasket. Two causes a leak. Instructions could have told me all that.

Before you buy this, I heard it has a lifetime warranty. I emailed Delta, but never heard back so I just bought this one. I suppose if you call you might have better luck. Anyway, I can’t help but think of a famous Michael Scott (The Office) quote when people say “It squeaks when you turn it on”. 🤣🤣(Can’t mention the quote here, but if you know, you know) Anyway… They suggest using plumbers grease, so that isn’t necessarily a defect. My biggest problem was removing the faucet handle. Beware, you might have to drill the set screw out to get it apart. But literally no one else has mentioned having this problem. I did, and it was a huge pain. That’s why I gave it 3 stars for “easy to install”. The actual part was very easy to install, but again, I could not get the handle off. Other than the squeak, it works great. And since the handle moves freely because of my drilling the set screw out, I can easily get it apart when I get that grease to stop the squeak. (Insert Michael Scott quote here)🤣🤣

I like that its quality competes with the original and is at a fair price. It is easy to install . Only thing I could possibly say I don't like is when using the hot water the parts expand and make a little noise when opening or closing the valve but to me it seriously is not even an issue, it does not effect its functionality and meets my expectations fully ..

Our sink faucet failed late Friday. We ordered Delta parts for a 5 year old faucet and received them before 1 pm Sunday. Sink was fixed before dinner.
