RP46074 valve cartridge assembly can be used for (rough-in R10000, R1100, R1800, R2200, etc.) single handle function repair kit; Comaptible with all single handle 13/14 series bathtub shower faucets. ( Note: NOT FIT 1300/1400 series! )

Single-handle universal valve cartridge repair assembly is made with high quality brass and extra-durable plastic, sturdy and not easy to deform. Easy to use and limit the maximum flow of hot water to prevent overheating.
PRESSURE BALANCE DESIGN
RP46074 monitor shower cartridge features single function pressure balance design to control water temperature within a safe range ±3.6° F (±2° C), which protect you from sudden changes in hot and cold water pressure and prevent you from cold water surprise during shower.
Warm Tips: for delta series 13/14, NOT 1300/1400.
Please remember to close the water valve before installation.
To avoid leaks or no hot water, please clean up the area around the old ink cartridge before installing the new cartridge.
Please according to the hot side indicated by the valve body to install it and make sure new one is seated all the way in the slot.
After installation, please adjust the rorational limit stop to cold avoid burns when the handle of the valve is rotate to the hot side.

Checked all the boxes.Way cheaper.Was the correct part/ fit.Does not leak.And, after setting dial to the hottest setting, it gets plenty hot.

This is an OEM product but not as the same quality of the ones you get from Lowes/Home Depot. It took me some effort to install it. On the positive side the price is good.

Item is as was described.Update for 2 weeks after instal. Both items have now failed. Water temps went to a constant temp and no control for hot or cold was able to cause a change in temp. Both were removed and inspected with no apparent issue. I've ordered a new delta one and it has worked perfectly. I should have just payed for the Delta to begin with.It was a gamble but I guess on items such as this it's better to pay the 50$ and be done with it.

I purchased this valve cartridge for my Kohler shower that had a slow leak. After following instructions online and installing, the leak is gone! Adjusting the temperature sensitivity on the valve was easy.
