Product Scope and Dimensions
- Suitable for monitoring faucets 1300 and 1400 series on single-lever bath/shower faucets. Suitable for selection monitoring valves from 1993 to 2007, not suitable for the new multi-selection general-purpose valves from 2007 to present.
- The RP19804 valve cartridge adopt pressure balance design, single function pressure balance temperature control, can keep the water temperature within a safe range of ±3.6°F (±2°C) that is safe for the human body, helping to protect you from sudden changes in the pressure of cold or hot water when showering.
- Easy to use and limit the maximum flow of hot water to prevent overheating.
Easy to Install
Fixing your dripping tub/shower faucet by replacing the cartridge will save water and keep you from Replacing an entire new faucet
- Make sure the water supply is off
- When you install, you should pay attation to intall the hot side correctly, adjust suitable hot scale.
- Clean sediment and debris from the pipeline before inserting new cartridges
Installation precautions:
- Step 1: Shut off the water supply to the tub/shower.
- Step 2: Remove the knob center cap, unscrew and remove the knob.
- Step 3: Remove the brass bonnet .（try by hand firstor gently use channel-lock pliers）
- Step 4: Remove the old cartridge, clean the sediment and debris in the pipeline
- Step 5: Insert the new cartridge, Thread and tighten the brass bonnet.
- Step 6: Slide the outer sleeve back on.
- Step 7: Replace the backing plate/knob and screw it in place.

The part worked great, no leaks. However the removal wasn’t for the faint at heart. After 20yrs it was well corroded in and I ended up removing it in pieces, several. 3-1/2hrs latter I was putting the tools away.

I researched this product on how to adjust for more hot water to no end. Is there was a temperature regulator on it?! I have adjusted the valve toward the hot water side as far as it will go (You can see that in the photographs that I posted ) I'm still receiving only lukewarm water. I bought 2 of these and put them in 2 of my showers and I am very disappointed. I have posted this question online and now I am about to give up and return both valves. NOTE: My leaking issue has stopped, but if we don't have hot water in our showers in this cold climate, this winter will be very uncomfortable.Anyone have any suggestions? I would really appreciate a reply from the seller. Is there a regulator on this I need to remove? The prongs are all the way to the hot side and I can't go any further and I still don't have my hot water back. Very frustrating. I Am appreciative of anyone to give me an answer on this. I hate to have to send these back. It seems like a pretty decent price for a product that seems to be working with the exception of the water temperature.

I was very disappointed when I received this cartridge. The box was open and the inside was stained. When I pulled out the cartridge it has hard water stains all over the washers and mold between the plastic. Also, only the used cartridge came in the box, the other items were not included, this is definitely getting returned. I hope it is not resold.
